Set it up. From start to finish.
Step 1: Get the app
Download Vidopick from the App Store or Google Play.
Step 2: Create first playlists
In Settings, tap + Add Playlist to enter a name and URL. Let's grab one from YouTube
Step 3: Get a playlist share link
In YouTube, go to You > Playlists, pick a public/unlisted playlist, tap Share > Copy link.
Got no playlists? Copy any public or unlisted playlist the same way.
Step 4: Add the playlist
Back in Vidopick, enter a name, paste the link, and tap Save. Your first playlist is ready.
Step 5: Activate options
Tap << for more options:
• Set a PIN to lock Settings
• Tap YouTube Premium to log in and ensure ad-free viewing
Step 6: Watch videos
Tap Exit to start playback. To add more playlists, tap the top-right button > cog icon > Settings > + Add Playlist.

Are ads displayed in the app
No. Vidopick never has and never will display ads. Our goal is to provide kids with a safe, distraction-free video player.
However, YouTube may show ads in the playlists you add. To ensure ad-free playback, connect your YouTube Premium account in the settings.
Is Vidopick free?
Yes! Vidopick is completely free to download and use, with no limits and no ads.
What devices support Vidopick?
Vidopick is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. You can install it on iOS and Android phones and tablets, as well as on Google TV.
Support for Fire TV is coming soon. Vidopick is not currently available for Apple TV.
Am I limited to adding just my own playlists?
No. You can add any public or unlisted YouTube playlist, whether it's yours or someone else's.
Can I collaborate with friends on playlists?
Yes! Create public or unlisted playlist on YouTube and invite others to add videos to it. When ready, add it to Vidopick.
How can I introduce Vidopick to my PTA or school?

Do I need a Vidopick account to use the app?
No. Vidopick works without creating an account. Just download, add playlists, and start playing.
Is my child’s data collected?
No. Vidopick does not collect or store personal data. All playlists and settings stay on your device.
Can my child access YouTube via Vidopick?
No. Vidopick is designed with parental controls that block direct access to YouTube or other apps.
Can I lock the settings so my child can’t change them?
Yes. Settings can be protected by a parental PIN so only you can manage playlists and controls.
